Today’s layout is another combo challenge and this time I managed to use up some older supplies too so it’s a winner on all fronts for me.
Yes the beach photo is very dark – my poor phone couldn’t cope with the atmosphere!
The final challenge of the January Go Go cyber crop was a moodboard by the lovely (but mad) Jo Boland. Jo is a wild swimmer and her moodboard included pictures of the beach, natural textures, cosiness, a muted colour scheme and a gold 2021 sign among a couple of other images. Obviously I’ve got the 2021 and in gold too, plus the beach and some references to cosiness (or not!), and I added some wood veneer hearts for the natural elements.
I’m gradually making my way through the remnants of last year’s Crate Paper Snowflake with just a few properly snowy items remaining. The creamy white background here was the last full sheet I had and the other pieces were perfect for making this Scrap Squad scrap lift.
This layout will be the first page of my 2021 album so the Bramble Fox title was a must. I’m doing really well in using up what I have and I’m also using the Fox Box titles to inspire my pages and help decide which stories to tell first. I normally order my photos on-line but I wanted to make sure I used this “Hello 2021” title for this page so I printed the photo at home while I had the inspiration. Our New Year’s Day walk was cold but my goodness the sea was so still! It feels like months ago now too!
Stay safe and keep smiling x
