Hey Everyone, Keighley here again with my 2nd layout as Guest Designer. Still sticking with the Christmas theme and this time I’m using the Merry and Bright title cutfile (pre-cut available here).

Whilst on the Silhouette software, I made 2 boxes the size of my photos to adjust the size of the cutfile, I knew I wanted it to be a focal point on my layout because I love the gorgeous font of the title.
I chose to scrap two photos of my children playing with there new toys/gadgets on Christmas Day. I pulled out my Mind The Scrap December 2018 Kit. I cut the cutfile in pattered paper from the Pebbles Cozy & Bright 6×6 paper pad.

I then attached a strip of patterned paper I had left in the kit also from the Pebbles collection, I added a strip of washi to add more details and layers to the left side of the page. I backed my photo with more papers from the 6×6 paper pad and attached those to my cardstock. After having a look at what embellishments I had left in the kit I decided to fussy cut some flowers from another patterned paper in the 6×6 paper pad, I really busted through that paper pad to create this layout. I added a couple of embellishments to the fussy cut flowers to create some little clusters creating the 3 points of the visual triangle, this isn’t something I always do but sometimes I feel it’s needed on a page. To finish off I popped the title cut file up on foam to really make it stand out. I really enjoyed using this cutfile and it was a great opportunity for me to use up a past Mind The Scrap Kit.
