It’s Terri here today sneaking in before the end of the short month. The start of the year is always such a busy time of year for me especially when we go away not long after Christmas. However, I love coming back from holiday and printing all my photos out. It really gives me so much inspiration for my scrapping. So as soon as I saw the pre-cut Paige Evans Guitar Cut File on the website I knew what photos I wanted to use it with.
I picked up some of the new Pebbles Jen Hadfield collection (Chasing Adventures) which is a very bright and bold travel themed collection. The floral papers are ideal for fussy cutting so I cut out a whole bunch to layer on my page.
I backed the pre cut guitar cut file with a bright patterned paper and then doodled in black pen round the outside to make it stand out on the white background.
This was quite a simple layout to put together with lots of simple paper techniques rather than focusing on mixed media. It shows just how versatile these cut files can be.
