Terri Morris – Happiness – Vertical Heart Cluster Cut File

Terri here, back with a bright and cheerful layout using the Vertical Heart Cluster cut file (pre-cut here). I have cut the file from Cocoa Vanilla patterned paper and then flipped the hearts over to use the A side as contrast for the hearts. I love how subtle the heart cut file looks over the Vicki Boutin mixed media background.

I’m keen to use up some older stash so I don’t feel quite so guilty buying some of the new collections. The Happiness title from the older Crate Paper Maggie Holmes Bloom collection works really well as it colour matches with the Cocoa Vanilla collection and background. I really enjoy mixing and matching collections but sometimes it is much easier to use all the same as it doesn’t take as much thought about compatibility.

The cut file got a little lost in the background so I outlined it with black pen to make it stand out a little more against the colourful background. A single photo matted with patterned paper with die cut flowers finishes the page off.

Due to ongoing health and personal issues, I’m afraid I am closing the shop for 6 months.  I very much hope to be back but I will only be able to judge this once I have gone through the next few months.  All outstanding orders will go out next week (commencing 15th June).  I will be keeping the blog side of the website going and I may pop up on social media sometimes but I may have to take a fair bit of time out while I process everything and work through treatments etc.  I know that particularly my pre-cut customers will be disappointed and I am so sorry to let people down but sometimes being strong involves having to give something up.  It’s not been an easy decision I can tell you.  Thank you so much to everyone that has supported me in the last 4 years, in particular my wonderful design team.  Seeing my designs on layouts capturing people’s precious memories is something I will always treasure.  Best wishes xx
