This time of year is my favourite and I love everything about it. From the gift buying, the tree decorating, the festive movies and all the wonderful food. My gift this year from my fiancé was a magical trip to Vienna. We spent our time there walking round the beautiful architecture and history but also exploring their fabulous Christmas markets.
The amazing gingerbread stall was perfect inspiration to use the gingerbread man shape from the Christmas Treats cut file. I re sized the gingerbread man to approximately 2 inches and cut out 13 of them.
I added a small amount of glue to the back of each gingerbread man in vertical lines to the left hand side of the page and then machine stitched down the centre of them.
The layout came together quite simply once the gingerbread men were stitched on. I matted the photos on green patterned paper and raised up on foam pads. All the embellishments were found in my Christmas stash and are from an old Elle’s Studio collection.
Thanks for joining me on the blog today. I’ll be back later in the month with another festive inspired layout using a fabulous Paige Evans pre-cut cut file available from the website.
