As is a common theme in my scrapping, I’ve chosen photos from a recent trip but also how much I love to travel with my mum.
I’ve been spending some time playing around with Silhouette Studio recently and I managed to separate the globe’s outer case to leave just the map background. This is now available to purchase as a new cut file if you prefer the adapted version (pre-cut here).
I added pearlescent texture paste through a stencil on to the land on the map and stitching to the longitude and latitude lines.
The globe background was then backed with a light patterned paper. I opted for a simpler patterned as to not detract too much from the cut file.
The layout is simply embellished with clusters of ephemera from the Pinkfresh studio ‘Out and About’ collection. The acrylic geotag marks Tunisia where the photo was taken.
