Terri Morris – Wine On The Beach

As the nights are drawing in one of the things I love to do is scrap my summer fun. It always brings back happy memories and usually a warm fuzzy feeling when I think about the sunshine.
Today’s layout features the Pre cut Paige Evans Seashell Border Cut File. As soon as I saw this cut file in the shop I knew it would be perfect to match it with the Maggie Holmes Sunny days collection. I’m not usually one for buying summer themed collections as a lot of my scrapbooking is of my travels which are usually not in the summer time.

I wanted the fish scale style patterned paper in the background to feature on the page so I cut my white card stock to approx. 9 x 11 1/2″ and adhered it approx. 1/4″ from the top of the page to create a thin frame around 3 sides and a large section of pattern at the bottom edge.

I backed each of the seashells with co-ordinating but different patterned paper from the Sunny Days collection then adhered it with foam pads to overlap the bottom edge of the white cardstock. I fussy cut seashells from the patterned paper, tucking them in to the gaps between the seashell border. I then added the tags, matted photo and chipboard element tucked under those fussy cut shells.

Finally adding a sprinkling of acrylic pieces, swim suit and tiny word stickers along with a title. I’m enjoying using multiple fonts in my titles at the moment, especially if they are slightly longer.
